How to make a Chemo Cap decoration Red Rose:

1xThin Felt

4~x Small Black Bead

1x Lighter

1x Threading Needle

1x Safety Pin

1x Scissors

Cut 4 circles from the thin felt. Start with the largest circle and cut smaller circles, adding up to 4 circles.

Using the lighter, shape the edges of the circle into the shape demonstrated above by slowly burning away the corners of all 4 circles we’ve just cut. You should now have 4 irregular circles.

Stack the circles on top of each other, starting with the largest at the bottom to the smallest circle at the top.

Attach the safety pin to the largest circle we’ve cut, which should be at the bottom of the stack. Stitch the black beads in the middle of the smallest circle on top, while at the same time stitching all the circles and the pin together in place.

This one is made from a ready-made fabric rose. You can also find it in various different colors to suit your taste. For this one, all you have to do is purchase a fabric rose of your choosing and attach it to your chemo hat using a safety pin. The product we have linked to comes with a pin.

Fold 20 cm long thin felt on the left as shown in picture B. (Pins have been used to keep the felt in place, but this is just to keep the fabric in place to take a picture. You shouldn’t use pins.)

Cut lines along its length using scissors like so:

Now roll the felt, and it will take the form of a rose:

You can either sew the rose so that it doesn’t open back up or use a silicone gun to hold it in place.
