Oval, oblong and round face shapes may seem difficult to differentiate between, so here are some tips:

• Oval face shape Balanced proportions. The forehead is slightly wider than the chin, but the overall face has soft curves.
• Oblong face shape is noticeably longer than it is wide. The face appears more elongated and narrow overall. Tends to have a rounded chin. The chin can be rounded or square, but the vertical length dominates.
• Oval face shape has no strong angles — everything is smooth and rounded. Cheeks are often the widest part of the face.
